Natalie Snyder
Attorney at Law

Natalie Snyder

As the head of a female-led law firm, I'm Natalie Snyder, the proud owner of Natalie Snyder Law, based right here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Raised in this great city, I've dedicated my life to serving the people of Pittsburgh and its surrounding counties. I understand that you might be going through a difficult time right now, but rest assured, I'm here to help.

About My Practice

I exemplify tenacity and compassion in my practice. Fearlessly tackling complex cases, I believe in empowering my clients by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and resources to propel their defense forward. I boldly advocate on your behalf, fighting tooth and nail for what's right. To me, it's not just about winning cases; it's about preserving your rights and dignity.

My Approach

I approach each case with focus and compassion. I respect you, your unique situation, and the law. As a former prosecutor with over 20 years of experience, I understand both sides of the courtroom, and I use this knowledge to advocate fiercely yet respectfully on your behalf. I don't fight unnecessary battles or those that aren't in the best interest of the client. My toughness is tempered with compassion.

Born, raised, schooled, and still living in Pittsburgh, I've always been fascinated by the law. It intrigued me because it was never the same thing day in and day out. My background in counseling, coupled with a genuine interest in people, has been invaluable in understanding what people are going through when they need me.

My journey in law began at Duquesne University, where I attended both undergrad and law school. I chose this institution because I wanted to attend a Catholic college, and my mother is an alumna. After graduation, my career took a turn towards counseling, which has been incredibly helpful as a criminal defense attorney.

Relating to Clients

When you're my client, you're not just a case—you're a person. I relate to what you're going through because I genuinely care about you. You're more than just what appears on paper—you're an individual experiencing very human emotions like fear, confusion, and anger. I use my skills and empathy to help you navigate your current situation.

What You Should Know About Me

As your legal representative, I believe in maintaining communication lines that are open and straightforward. I am committed to responding promptly to your concerns and queries. Honesty is a cornerstone of my practice, and you can trust me to provide you with accurate information, even when it is hard to hear. In my two decades of experience, I have found that my clients appreciate this approach as it allows them to prepare for all potential outcomes.

Remember, my commitment is to you—to fight for your rights, to guide you through the legal process, and to stand with you every step of the way. My drive is fueled by a deep-seated passion for justice, and I am prepared to put my all into defending you.

Most Memorable Experiences

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of sharing numerous memorable experiences with my clients, a few of which I'd like to share with you. One of the most touching moments was when a client, after a favorable case outcome, revealed she was pregnant. She was so grateful for my help that she decided, if the baby was a girl, she would give her my name as a middle name. This heartwarming gesture truly moved me.

Another cherished memory I hold is a client who, long after his case was resolved, continues to keep in touch. This lasting bond goes beyond professional interaction, extending to friendly exchanges during holidays, reinforcing the human connection in our profession.

I also fondly recall a Christmas when the children of a client handcrafted a beautiful gift for me. Their heartfelt expression of gratitude reminded me of the profound impact my work can have on people's lives.

These stories exemplify why I chose this profession and continue to practice law. They underscore the importance of showing compassion in our interactions, a belief that is at the heart of my practice. By showing compassion, I have found that compassion is reciprocated, fostering relationships founded on mutual respect and understanding.

Personal Life

Outside of work, my favorite role is being a mom to my two amazing daughters. I'm active in their school and in my church. I also love reading and camping. Balancing my professional life with personal pursuits helps keep me grounded and reminds me of the importance of compassion in all that we do.

Honors and Awards

I am honored to have been inducted into the Salute for Legal Excellence. I'm also an Official Partner with the USCCA. These accolades are a testament to my dedication to upholding the highest standards of legal excellence.
